Career

Initially a mechanical engineer.
Then, after specialising in nuclear physics, began his career in 1975 at the Société Européenne de Propulsion with a study into stationary acoustic wave phenomena in combustion chambers.

In 1976, joined the nuclear engineering firm, GAAA, as a process engineer in BWR auxiliary nuclear fluid systems under a General Electric licence.

In 1977, joined Framatome as a PWR instrumentation and control engineer working on emergency cooldown systems for the Doel and Tihange plants in Belgium.

Became an industrial architect within the preliminary plant installation research team.
Work on redefining the P'4 series using analytical studies on the value of the design of the 1,300 MW plant series launched in Paluel.

In 1978, began CAD computerisation of plant installation studies, with the study of 3D representation of a 600 MW PWR reactor building.

In 1981, joined EDF's Research and Development Department as a research engineer .
Development of 3D CAD engineering design applications.
Training of EDF Engineering and Construction Division users to computerise their jobs.

In 1985, the occasion of a technological partnership with the patronage of Franco-Egyptian Research Centre of the Temples of Karnak, First initiative of numerical modeling of architectural ensembles of the ancient Egypt in order to produce representations of the successive phases of the evolution of architectural complexes of Karnak and Luxor.
To do this architectural principles have been decomposed into a vocabulary of fifty archetypes common to most of egyptian temples, facilitating work otherwise unthinkable modeling.

In 1992, directed the design application organisation project for the EDF Engineering and Construction Division in Research Information System.
Introduction of first concepts for Plant Data Management at Électricité de France.

In 1996, initiate research on new methods and technologies for process instrumentation and control methods (formal application of state-oriented management principles, based on the theory of viability, insertion of internal proprioceptive models, reliability study maintaining operation in mostly abnormal operating conditions).

In 1999, specification work for an interactive structured terminology construction and validation tool.

In 2001, operations manager for the R&D documentary methodologies project.
Experimentation with automatic structuring and hypertextualisation techniques for technical documentation corpus, study and specification of XML modelling of technical documents and XML model directories.

From 2005, development of prototyping methods for creation of formal ontologies according to W3C standards using structured multilingual terminology.
Study of formal ontology population methods using text documents and spreadsheets.
Study of a formal ontology graph publication prototype.
Definition of ontological methods for Enterprise Architecture Cartography using semantic web technologies (discipline taught at Evry Val d'Essonne University).
